Gilbertsville, NY

English Tudor and Romanesque are the architectural styles prominent in this small village, located in the beautiful Butternut Valley and a short drive from Unadilla, NY.

The entire Village of Gilbertsville was added to the National Register of Historic Places in May 1983 making it a unique district to visit.

The Major's Inn, a medieval English Tudor and Gothic building, is a cultural center that is open seasonally and often hosts special events. The village has become an artist enclave, with several studios and specialty shops. Visit the Gilbertsville Expressive Movement Inc.'s Sculpture Garden or take part in one of their workshops! Or maybe try your hand at some NY Goat Yoga at Gilbertsville Farmhouse.

One of the largest events to take place here is the Gilbertsville Horse Show each July.

One can also enjoy the fresh air by visiting the Wagner Farm State Forest that offers a short walking trail, hunting, and trapping on more than 450 acres.

Lots to see in such a quaint place!
