Snowmobiling in Otsego County

Winter transforms Otsego County into a snowmobiler's paradise with more than 300 miles of trails. Each year, nor'easters and lake effect storms deliver between 75 and 100 inches of snow. When conditions permit, riders travel the county from Richfield Springs to Otego, traversing buried hills and frozen lakes for winter adventures through open country. State parks and protected areas offer access close to parking areas and facilities, and many area accommodations cater to snowmobilers. Local clubs mark, groom, maintain trails, and sell map; learn more at Check out an interactive map by the New York State Snowmobile Association HERE!
